| Renata Stone, in a portrait dated about three Novian months (60 Novian days) prior to the MC-101C Mission to the Laramax Caverns on Mare Cetus. This date corresponds to very early in 2165 on Earth. The portrait was made while Renata was on a short business trip with Arielle Talarian and two other Explora employees. The trip took them to the city of Intrepidis, which is where Arielle convinced Renata to have their portraits done in a small studio in the city's central district. Intrepidis is located on the western coast of the Novian continent of Fervens Solum. Most of Fervens Solum lies close to the Novian equator, and thus most of the continent experiences a tropical to sub-tropical climate year round. The western coast of Fervens Solum is more arid than the rest of the continent because of a long, linear mountain range that often prevents significant precipitation from reaching the coast. |
